Her responsibilities include performing engineering reviews, analyzing recommendations in traffic engineering reports, using Synchro to perform operational analysis, preparing necessary associated documents (work orders, traffic regulations, sign designs, etc.), performing field assessments to identify operational and safety deficiencies, and obtaining and analyzing crash data. In addition, she currently oversees and review several pedestrian and bicyclist studies. Her duties also include representing the Department in meetings and presentations, and coordination with the public and other government agencies. b. Miami Ave. overpass. The scope of work is to enhance the roadway and community through the reconstruction of SW 6th Street, milling and resurfacing of the surrounding streets, new drainage structures, new sidewalks and curb and gutter, new driveways, improved hardscape, ADA compliant ramps and parking, new pavement markings, updated signage, lush landscaping on proposed islands and swale, and decorative lighting. c. Ms. Borges also participated in meetings and presentations, coordinated with Department staff and affected external agencies and customers, and allocated the necessary resources to implement remedial action. Additionally, she developed and managed professional and contractual service contracts that supported traffic operations, issued task work orders, reviewed contract deliverables and processed invoices, coordinated Department personnel and other agencies associated with work under the contract. d. Project also included parking prohibition regulation on the west side of NW 7th Avenue and NW 29th Street, and the reconstruction of pedestrian ADA ramps and sidewalks. e. The project consisted of roadway improvements for Byron Avenue, including milling & resurfacing, new signing and pavement markings, and new safety improvements such as ADA ramps and sidewalks.
