<br />As part of the signal retiming efforts, Ms. Poe is currently monitoring US 1 from SW 16th Avenue to SW 19500 Block and providing
<br />recommendations for signal timing fine tuning of cycle lengths, offsets, and phase splits. This effort includes constant
<br />communication and coordination with the Miami-Dade County Signal Zone Engineer; as well as meeting with FDOT and other
<br />County officials on a regular basis. This effort is being conducted to try and improve the coordination between signals especially
<br />for corridor sections with bottleneck intersections, heavy peak period congestion, and heavy pedestrian activity.

<br />ITS detectors), crash review, and a geometric design review of all elements that pertain to speed, to recommend the change or
<br />maintenance of the existing posted speed limits along the corridor.
